Day 2:
Central Districts VS Waikato
After a dismal performance
from Counties Manukau there was hope that possibly Central Districts, who was
also another newly formed team (but with a few old players), might be able to do
a little better. With Wiakato batting first it looked like it was going to be a
great game with B1 player, Steven Donnolly scoring a remarkable 42 not out the
team blossomed to a score of 155 (a slight improvement from the day before!).
With one retirement coming from Waikato captain Nigel Abraham. Unfortunately the
Central Districts team turned out to be no match for the far more experienced
Waikato team and called it a day after being all out for 67.
